five years ago, the fourth season of isle of love aired and it took the world by storm. the show had been a moderate success, but for whatever, the casting of this season and the right people tweeting at the right time brought more attention to this show than ever before. the drama, the friendships, the betrayal, the ridiculous competitions, america ate it up. and now, the cast is back. they've agreed to all live in a house together for the summer, no eliminations this time, and be filmed the entire time. they were all ridiculous enough to say yes. tune in to watch as the "family" the world was obsessed with five years ago reunites. it's bound to be wild.

this is a gpsl based off of a television show like love island uk. all characters are based on a premade, in which you are given set connections and relationships in the game from when the show first aired. why things happened the way they did are completely up to you. why did they break up? why did things fall apart after they got off the show? did people keep friendships? it's all up to you. isle of love, unlike love island, was not restricted to any specific country's citizens. as long as a contestant would make good tv, and they could speak english, they were welcome. feel free to make your chracters from wherever you like! you can find male premades here, and female premades here. you do not need to keep the name, they were randomly generated baby names. also, we welcome lgbtqia+ characters, just because the couples on the show were m/f doesn't mean that sexuality isn't a spectrum. you are welcome here!

activity
you will be expected to update publicly twice a month, as well as update your friends lists. one post should be interactive, the other can be a narrative, a flashback to something from the isle previously, a private confessional etc. also, if you show literally no signs of life, and haven't let us know something is going on, we reserve the right to remove you.

how does this all break down?
we have breakdowns for you in multiple ways. you can either look by premade name here: males females, or you can read all the way through of what happened on each day here. we do our best as people are added to link them in the descriptions so you can find your connections.

lingo
there are different lingo you'll see used in the premade descriptions. the most important ones are as follows: isle of love/isle - the name of the show & the name for the house they all lived in (called "the isle"). repairing/pairs - "ceremony" where people "pair" up into pairs. pairs sleep in the same bed, and can be romantic or friendly. at repairing ceremonies anyone left without a pair is dumped from the isle. dumped - eliminated from the show. single isle date - when a new contestant joins the isle or becomes single, they get to pick whoever they want to go on a date with, whether they're in a happy pair or not. couple date - handed out by the producers to pairs or couples they like and want to have alone time. casa amor - a twist where they separate all the boys and girls and give them an opportunity to match with someone brand new.
